Dakota Johnson has criticized Hollywood’s current state during her appearance on the popular YouTube show “Hot Ones,” where she discussed various industry issues while tackling increasingly spicy wings with host Sean Evans.

According to People, the 35-year-old actress, currently promoting her new film “Materialists,” expressed her concerns about the movie industry’s creative decision-making process and its reliance on remakes.

When asked about why Hollywood has become “so risk-averse,” Johnson didn’t mince words, stating that “it’s hard when creative decisions are made by committee, and it’s hard when creative decisions are made by people who don’t even really watch movies or know anything about them.” She added that “it’s all just a bit of a mess right now.”

The actress also addressed her recent experience with the superhero film “Madame Web,” which received negative reviews and earned her a Razzie Award for Worst Actress at the 2025 ceremony. The film also won Worst Picture and Worst Screenplay at the same event.

During her conversation with the Los Angeles Times in June, Johnson explained that the movie’s poor performance “wasn’t my fault.” She described how the project “started out as something and turned into something else,” and she was “just sort of along for the ride at that point.”

Johnson revealed her preference for having more creative control through her production company, TeaTime Pictures. She expressed that it’s “hard to be on some jobs where I don’t have input, creative input,” highlighting her desire to be more involved in the creative process.

The actress pointed out another significant issue affecting the industry: studios’ tendency to remake successful properties rather than taking risks on new content. She emphasized that audiences “want to feel new things, experience new things, see new things,” suggesting that the current approach might not align with viewer preferences.

The candid interview concluded with Johnson jokingly declaring that she “won’t be back” on “Hot Ones” after struggling through the spicy wing challenge, even stating earlier in the show that “today’s gonna be my last day.”

Anthony Mackie might have stepped on some toes in a recent interview where he threw some shade at his forever bro Sebastian Stan. The Captain America: Brave New World actor named Stan as his least talented scene partner, and we aren’t having it. But anyone familiar with Hollywood’s favorite bromance won’t help but laugh, especially when you hear Mackie’s reasons.

Just like Sam and Bucky in the MCU, Mackie and Stan love to tease each other, so when Mackie was asked a particular question during the Brave New World press tour, his answer didn’t surprise anyone. 

Mackie and his Brave New World co-star, Danny Ramirez, stopped by the set of First We Feat, for an episode of Hot Ones Versus. The pair had to ask each other questions, and if the other couldn’t answer, they had to eat a spicy wing. Mackie already had Ramirez on the ropes, after fearlessly answering any questions lobbed at him, no matter who he offended, but fans really thought Ramirez had him on this one. The question read, “Rank these Captain America scene partners from most to least talented: Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Danny Ramirez.” 

Unfortunately for Ramirez, Mackie was willing to welcome the smoke, and emphatically answered. “Chris Evans, Danny Ramirez, **** Sebastian Stan,” he said. Knowing how much the two love to tease each other, it wasn’t a surprise that Mackie would put Stan at the bottom of that list, just for laughs. He also went on to list his hilarious reasons for putting Stan at the bottom. “He got a Golden Globe, an Oscar nomination… he got a new girlfriend– he’s got everything.”

Keeping the bromance alive

If you’re not familiar with Mackie and Stan’s bromance, or “Stacky,” as their fans have dubbed them, his ranking of Stan at the bottom might seem mean. But, it is just a rollover of their decade-plus-long bromance, from when they first shared the screen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While their characters had some funny on-screen moments during the movie, it was the actor’s chemistry during the press tour and on red carpets that solidified the pairing. 

They have countless inside jokes, memes, and running gags, such as Mackie’s love for Stans’s couch, Stan teasing Mackie over not being able to use social media, and Mackie fawning over Stan’s “steel blue eyes” that “let you know where home is.” 

Despite constantly poking fun at each other, their friendship is undeniably full of love and . Both actors have appeared on each other’s projects’ red carpets and shown nothing but pride for the other over their achievements. Mackie isn’t even as bitter at Stan’s Oscar nom, as he suggested in the Hot Ones Versus. After all, during another interview with On Demand Entertainment, he proudly raved about how he had a huge party planned to celebrate the nomination, regardless of whether Stan won or not. 

This is a bromance that we’ll never tire of, and we’ll be eagerly waiting for the next time Mackie crashes one of Stan’s red carpet interviews. 

First We Feast’s Hot Ones is poised to subject its next celebrity to the infamous wings of death, and fans think they’ve guessed who it might be based on a recent teaser clip. 

ed on the production company’s social media channels on Tuesday, the teaser features a quote from a participant on the episode of the show which, if you haven’t watched, sees major stars eat increasingly hot chicken wings while trying not to explode. “I think what’s great about BLACKPINK is we want such big things for ourselves,” the quote reads, sending countless K-pop fans into a tizzy. 

The teaser is effective in, well, teasing who might be on the receiving end of Hot Ones’ unprecedented Scoville scales, but eagle-eyed fans and K-pop sleuths are hedging their bets on the person behind the quote. It seems pretty obvious that the episode will somehow involve BLACKPINK, with some suggesting it could feature the entire quartet of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. 

“OMG ALL FOUR TOGETHER ON HOT ONES WE ARE SO BACK,” one fan theorized on X, with another declaring that the episode “better be all 4 of [of] BLACKPINK together.” Since the girl group haven’t released an album since 2022’s Born Pink, or a single since last year’s “The Girls,” some fans are convinced the Hot Ones appearance will mark something of a reunion. “Wait we are going to have blackpink together again this year in this?,” one wrote, preempting a t comeback and perhaps news of releases. 

Those not pining for a reunion, however, are suggesting that perhaps just one member of BLACKPINK will appear on Hot Ones, especially since the bandmates have been focussing on their solo projects in recent months. One member who is busy on the solo promotional train is Rosé, who recently released the Bruno Mars collaborative single APT. The 27-year-old also has her debut album, rosie, on the horizon, hitting airwaves on December 6. 

With two major releases in the books, it stands to reason that Rosé would be promoting the projects on shows like Hot Ones, and fans have taken the hint. “TELL ME IT’S ROSÉ,” one fan exclaimed, with another all-but confirming that it’s “def Rosé for Rosie album promo.” Similar declarations were shared by another Rosé stan, who wrote it “has to be Rosé.” 

While all the of BLACKPINK have solo projects in the works — from Jisoo hinting at a sophomore album earlier this year to Jennie Kim dropping her solo single “Mantra” last month — it’s Rosé who has been the busiest promoting her work, particularly in America. While that might point to BLACKPINK’s lead dancer being the next to brave the hot sauce, some fans can’t seem to make their mind up. 

“The way i literally can’t guess who this is… i QUIT,” one K-pop fan wrote. Whoever it is, the BLACKPINK episode will add to Hot Ones’ increasingly starry interview lineup of late, with host Sean Evans chowing down on wings with everyone from Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman to Jennifer Lawrence, Tom Holland, Billie Eilish, and perhaps most famously, Gordon Ramsay. 

Since the Hot Ones to Chicken Shop Date pipeline is so strong, we wouldn’t count out a member of BLACKPINK, or perhaps the entire band, appearing alongside Amelia Dimoldenberg for an awkward, yet probably flirtatious, chicken nugget date.

Ashton Kutcher’s resurfaced comments about Sean “Diddy” Combs are doing the rounds online, amid the controversy surrounding the rapper and his arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. 

For context, Diddy was arrested last week in New York following years-long legal troubles, with authorities alleging the disgraced rapper was the head of a sex trafficking ring that involved so-called “freak offs”. The days-long, drug-fuelled events allegedly saw victims perform sex acts, and Diddy’s parties have now been given renewed attention following Kutcher’s old comments. 

The That 70s Show star spoke about his association with Diddy during a 2019 interview on the chicken wing-eating show, Hot Ones. After the show’s host, Sean Evans, said Diddy’s party stories are “our favorite genre of anecdote,” the actor replied skittishly that there’s “a lot I can’t tell” about the events hosted by the rapper. Images of Diddy and Kutcher were shown during the segment, and the actor giggled as he recalled memories from attending Diddy’s parties. 

“I can’t tell that one either,” Kutcher said of his stories of Diddy’s parties, “I’m like cycling through them.” The actor skirted around revealing any actual details of the rapper’s parties, and ended the segment by saying that thinking of the events was like going down “some weird memory lane.” 

In the same interview, Kutcher reflected on becoming “fast friends” with Diddy, saying the pair met while he was hosting his prank show Punk’d and would “hang out and watch football together.” Naturally, Kutcher’s connection to the now-infamous rapper has attracted backlash, with social media s suggesting that the actor “was complicit” in Diddy’s crimes.

“Why didn’t he speak out?,” one person wrote on X, with another adding that the actor appeared to have “SUPER guilty body language.” It’s worth noting that it is not yet known whether the parties Kutcher is referring to are the “freak offs” now at the center of Diddy’s legal woes, but the actor’s past has done little to quell fans’ suspicions. 

s took particular umbrage with Kutcher’s comments given that, last year, he and his wife face backlash for sending letters of to their That 70s Show co star Danny Masterson, after he was convicted of rape. 

According to critics, Kutcher’s attendance at Diddy’s parties also seems at-odds with his work as the former board chair of Thorn, an organization he cofounded in 2012 to fight child sex trafficking. Kutcher is far from the only celebrity whose connection to Diddy has resurfaced following the arrest, with fans also questioning the rapper’s relationship with stars like Jennifer Lopez, Usher and Justin Bieber.

The associates of the rapper have also reached the political sphere, following Donald Trump’s decision to share a fake image of his presidential opponent Kamala Harris posing alongside Diddy.

While that photo was found to be doctored, the former president himself has made complimentary comments about Diddy in the past, saying in an old episode of The Celebrity Apprentice that he was “going to stick up for” the musician. 

Diddy is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he has been denied bail twice. His next hearing in the case is scheduled for Sept. 24, 2024.

Flea isn’t just one thing. He is a symphony of contradictions. A father. An actor. An iconic stage presence. An inductee into the Hot Ones family of celebrities suffering from severe decision-induced gastrointestinal distress. 

More than that, Flea — birth name: Michael Peter Balzary — is the bass player for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, a band from a far-off era called the 1990s, when all the tips were frosted and kids still had the audacity to dream of Californication. By his own recollection, Flea came by his pseudonym in high school, earning the nickname thanks to his inability to sit still. Friends would call him “Mike B. the Flea,” a sobriquet that he’d carry with him into early performances, being credited as such in some of his earliest acting work in 1983’s Suburbia. Presumably in a bid to ruin the lives of future CD insert writers who got paid by the word, he later shortened it to “The Flea,” then “Flea.”

On the subject of his acting career, Flea was apparently unsatisfied with a life building up to being voted Rolling Stone’s second-greatest bassist of all time. He also had to dip his toe into on-screen performances, via some of the most memorable movies and television shows of the last four decades. Flea can be spotted playing a nihilist in The Big Lebowski, one of the of the heist crew in Baby Driver, part of Biff’s gang in the second and third Back to the Future films, and playing a musician in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He voiced the feral child Donnie Thornberry across the Wild Thornberrys TV series, movies, and video games. He’s also developed a frustrating habit of showing up in music videos for songs performed by bands he’s never been a member of, causing moderately-to-severely stoned college sophomores to ask “Wait, was Flea in The Beastie Boys?” since 1986. Sean Evans has done it again. He brought iconic pop stars like Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and Rosalia to their knees with his lineup of hot wings. But not content to rest on his laurels, he welcomed NSYNC into the studio to challenge their palates in the very first episode of season 22 of Hot Ones.

Justin Timberlake is no stranger to Evans and his hot wings that get increasingly hotter as the interview continues; he appeared on the show in the season 11 finale to promote Trolls World Tour, and choked on his words a bit while discussing conceptualizing “D*** in a Box” with Saturday Night Live‘s The Lonely Island. The result was hilarious and informative.

But on this episode, Evans brought the whole crew in to talk about all things NSYNC, past and present. With some good-natured ribbing among the guys, they described the difference between writing a song together now as opposed to in their heyday in the late ’90s/early aughts, what makes a great boy band, and getting injured on stage.

But the laughs got much heartier when Evans asked about their supposed casting in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. It was apparently only Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez who filmed two scenes as Jedi warriors, a point that Timberlake expressed, “I think I us getting a call like, ‘you guys are never gonna believe what happened.’ Me and Lance were so butt-hurt. So, when you guys got cut out we were like (laughs).”

So their scenes were left on the cutting room floor. Guess the guys will just have to keep the memory as consolation. That, and being adored superstars.

There’s no denying that Hot Ones is one of the most unique celebrity chat shows currently on offer. On par with the quirkiness of fellow talk show standouts like Chicken Shop Date and Between Two Ferns, the interview show adopts a unique model in which celebrity guests eat increasingly spicy chicken wings while fielding interview questions from host, Sean Evans.

The increasing popularity of the YouTube series — produced by Complex and First We Feast and launched in 2015 — has seen Evans welcome an onslaught of progressively starrier guests, with big names like Jennifer Lawrence, Idris Elba and Billie Eilish each trying their hand at the hot sauce throughout Hot Ones’ 21-season run.

Just this week, it was revealed that former boy band NSYNC would appear on the twenty-second season of Hot Ones, with all five of the reunited group taking on the wings of death for the imminent season premiere. Athletes Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are also rumoured to appear on the new installment.

Naturally, the popularity of the show has brought attention to its host. Evans, who has fronted the series since its debut season, has gained renown as one of the more insightful interviewers in the game, with fans of the show now speculating that the host himself is of a famous family. So, who is Sean Evans, and is he related to Chris Evans?

Who is Sean Evans?

Sean Evans is the host and co-creator of Hot Ones. A graduate of broadcast journalism from the University of Illinois, Evans conceived of Hot Ones with its co-creator Chris Schonberger. Evans grew up as an irer of interviewers like Howard Stern, Jimmy Kimmel, and Adam Carolla, and cites a taping of David Letterman as one of his earliest memories.

Prior to the launch of Hot Ones, Evans worked as a freelance contributor for the publication Complex, where he undertook early on-screen interviews with celebrities like 2 Chainz and Steph Curry. His success in the role led Complex to offer him a full-time position, after which he moved to New York City and hosted the first Hot Ones episode with debut guest Tony Yayo in 2015.

Since then, Evans has overseen some 300 episodes and consumed over 2,000 spicy chicken wings (RIP to his gut). Throughout Hot Ones’ run, Evans has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award as its host, with the show itself last year nominated for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show.

Is Hot Ones’ Sean Evans related to Chris Evans?

As Hot Ones’ profile grew — welcoming Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot on its most recent episode — so too did questions around Evans’ origins. While there’s a certain smiley demeanour and voice timbre that begs comparisons between the pair, Sean Evans is not related to Chris Evans of Captain America and Avengers fame.

Chris Evans was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and is the son of a dentist and an artistic director. While Chris Evans did rub shoulders with now-famous names in his early days (he was a classmate of Succession’s Jeremy Strong), Sean Evans was not one of those names.

Interestingly, given its increasingly starry list of guests, Hot Ones has yet to welcome Chris Evans to its spicy turntable. Sean Evans has, however, interviewed a range of superhero actors from Marvel and beyond, including an Avenger in the form of a 2019 interview with Ant-Man’s Paul Rudd.

Fellow MCU actors who’ve appeared on Hot Ones include Brie Larson, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Florence Pugh Tom Holland, all of whom have proved that even superheroes can’t handle the most notorious hot sauce, Da Bomb.

Does Chris Evans have any famous relatives?

While Sean Evans is not a part of Chris’ family tree, the Ghosted star does have some famous relatives. He is the nephew of Mike Capuano, who served as the mayor of the Boston city Somerville for nine years before becoming U.S. Representative until 2019.

On the Hollywood front, Chris Evans is the older brother of fellow actor Scott Evans. Scott Evans is known for his recurring role on Netflix’s Grace and Frankie, and has elsewhere appeared in the series Law & Order and HBO’s Looking. More recently, Scott Evans earned a breakout role in Barbie, portraying one of about 300 Kens in the much-lauded Greta Gerwig adaptation.

Finally the video game crossover we’ve all been waiting for! The YouTube show Hot Ones and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon finally meet in a test of intestinal fortitude. Boon — who created the first game in the prehistoric video game era of 1992 — remarked on just how far things have come technologically over the past 30 years or so.

Host Sean Evans presented Boon with a remark from actor Kumail Nanjiani that “video games are the only medium in entertainment that get better year after year because of the technological advancements.”

He asked Boon as “somebody who’s had their hands so deep in the video game honey pot [since] the 1980s” if that resonated with him at all.

Boone explained that the first Mortal Kombat game started in 1991 and it was “four people,” which included a programmer, two artists and an “audio guy.” The newest game, Mortal Kombat 1, is “literally in the hundreds.”

“Technology has created the opportunity for us to make the most elaborate sets. We have actors, directors, animators, audio engineers. It just goes on and on, so the scope is one hundred times, I’d say, as big as the very first one.”

That’s quite the leap. Of course, it was incremental. There are, after all, 26 games in the franchise, including spin-offs. The improvements are “all technology’s fault,” Boone quipped.

The latest Mortal Kombat isn’t just a technologically advanced game, it’s a complete reboot of the whole universe timeline. There’s a lot of anticipation surrounding the release, especially since developer Netherrealm has been gradually releasing info about the game the past few months.

For example, actress Megan Fox will voice Nitara, something that’s helped add hype to the proceedings. Also new: when a player quits a game mid-match online they will be embarrassed with a “Quitality” animation. Think Fatality for quitters.

Speaking of those bygone days, Evans asked Boon what he missed about those old days of making games, and what he’s glad he doesn’t have to deal with anymore.

“What I miss the most about the old days is that if you have an idea, later that afternoon you can see the idea come to fruition. You can just see it done. Now if you have an idea…”

“Six month lead,” Evans interjected.

“Oh, at least,” Boon said. “It’s like steering the Titanic. You wanna take a turn you plan a month ahead and then you start turning. There’s something about having an idea off the top of your head and then being able to do it. Now, it affects 30 people.”

It’s a great interview if you’re interested in how the Mortal Kombat sausage is made. Mortal Kombat 1 releases on September 14 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Gal Gadot is returning to the streaming limelight with Heart of Stone, a spy action thriller starring her as its main heroine — Rachel Stone (get it?) — and it seems that this particular outing is going to up the ante for the actress in of stunt work and choreographed fight scenes.

The DCEU star has certainly starred in her fair share of action movies over the past couple of years, not least of all the two Wonder Woman films that gave her prominence in the first place. The acting credit that probably landed her Heart of Stone, however, must go to 2021’s Red Notice, one of the most-streamed titles of that year on Netflix also starring Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson.

Since this new movie is another original by Netflix, and given the company’s pattern of content creation over the past couple of years, it wouldn’t surprise us to learn that the producers actually wrote the role for Gadot and then brought her on to realize the vision.

Then again, considering what she recently told her fans while appearing for an episode of Hot Ones, this 2023 flick is definitely pushing the envelope in a lot of ways, including the physicality of the action sequences.

“I didn’t want this to be another Wonder Woman film,” she said. “So the whole idea was to create a film that would be grounded, and the action would be raw and dynamic. When she gets hit, you feel the pain with her, so it’s a lot different. We had to work out and train and prep for months before even filming this film.”

Or to put it more bluntly, this isn’t another mindless action romp in superhero form. You can watch the relevant section of the interview at around the 2:45 mark.

Heart of Stone — starring Gal Gadot alongside Jamie Dornan and Sophie Okonedo — is releasing tomorrow on Netflix. And though we can’t wait to see the Israeli thespian in a proper action movie, most fans now have their eyes fixed on the confirmed threequel in the Wonder Woman saga.

Premiering on YouTube on Aug. 3, 2023, the recent Hot Ones episode hosting Brazilian pop icon Anitta made for a hilarious, well-spent 23 minutes. As per usual, the host Sean Evans has an engaging conversation with his guest while asking thoughtful, well-researched questions that are often worthy of praise. In turn, Anitta did not disappoint with any of her straightforwardly honest answers, or her spontaneous reactions to the increasingly spicier food – which often came out as a string of curses and interjections in Brazilian Portuguese. The artist managed to get to the end of the challenge without failing to charm many of the viewers, who reached 700 thousand in less than 48 hours.

The viewers ranged from hardcore fans — most of whom are from Brazil — to curious strangers, who were unaware of both the singer’s catchy music and her upbeat personality. We can confirm this with a quick scroll through the YouTube comments or browsing forum posts discussing the episode in question. “I swear the amount of people I don’t know as an American that are international superstars… Good PR indeed.” A viewer, going by u/Lazerus42, wrote on a Reddit thread concerning the episode, to which another commenter responded, “Same. Never heard of her. But now a fan.” Suffice it to say that, at an international level, the episode has captured the attention of a great number of netizens who naturally became invested in finding out more about the pop star.

Or you even might be like me, someone who has known Anitta as an artist for years, danced to her music in clubs as a teenager in the early 2010s, but never followed her career as closely as a fan would. As recently as last year Anitta became the first Brazilian musician to bring home an MTV VMA award, which she won for her song “Envolver.” Naturally, she felt proud to be representing her home country, “It was such an honor to represent Brazil, and make history,” Anitta said according to Vogue.

What’s Anitta’s history with plastic surgery?

As a powerful woman who inspires others, Anitta is unafraid and unapologetic when discussing the plastic surgeries she has had. As she explicitly states in the Instagram post above – posted the day after her 29^th birthday in 2022 – she has had “millions of plastic surgeries, doctors, and interventions.” She comments on her very first procedure in her Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley. Off the top of most people’s heads, the right answer probably wouldn’t come easily.

Her first procedure was in fact a breast reduction surgery. Like many women out there, rather than for strictly aesthetic value, this one was also done to reduce discomfort. “I had boobs for four girls, I could literally donate,” Anitta told the two seemingly puzzled co-hosts.

Anitta’s so comfortable with having her plastic surgeries be public knowledge that she even conceptualized her album cover of Versions of Me around the fact that she has had work done multiple times. On the cover, there are multiple busts of Anitta, with the one in front being her present 2022 self and the others reflective of how she’s looked at different points in time. She has gone as far as telling her own father after he complimented her beauty in a self-congratulatorily fashion: “I’m full of plastic surgery, you know!”

So, what procedures has Anitta undergone? Although we probably could not pinpoint the exact number of cosmetic enhancements the Brazilian musician has had, we can certainly name some: rhinoplasty, liposuction, genioplasty, lip fillers, botox injections between her eyebrows and on her chin, breasts surgery — both reduction as well as silicone implants later on — and tattoo removal.

Anitta has previously stated that she’s content with everything she’s done, her face especially. You can clearly tell in her Hot Ones interview that she’s more than at home in her own skin and that translates to a larger-than-life personality. In an interview with Kelly Clarkson, the artist itted that she’s a bad liar. The solution? She doesn’t lie. While eating the multiple bites of spicy chicken, Anitta cusses in her mother tongue like a sailor and talks about hemorrhoids like it’s no one’s business. “She talks about sex like Charles Barkley talks about basketball,” commented a Redditor. “Honest, no filters, while making you laugh about it.” They later added, “The best [interviews] are always when people are being themselves.”

Anitta is the embodiment of being comfortable and confident in one’s skin, regardless of how many changes said skin has gone through.

Honestly, I’m looking at this list and it seems pretty darn fair. More than that — it’s thought-out. Steph didn’t just throw the Golden State Warriors at the top for the hell of it. I’ve never had a hole-in-one. Heck, I don’t think I’ve ever been close — and I’d go so far as to call myself a decent golfer. The odds of hitting one of sports’ most illusive shots is literally, and I’m not making this up, in the statistical range of 12,500 to 1. Look, I’m no math wiz, but that doesn’t sound too promising.

For Steph Curry though, getting an ace appears easier than it looks (or actually is), and during his recent appearance on Hot Ones the NBA All-Star talked about his experience making a hole-in-one at the American Century Championship.

When asked if hitting a hole-in-one is anything like hitting a long-range basketball shot, Curry quickly shut down that line of questioning. Spoiler. It’s not.

“(It’s a) Uniquely singular experience just because when I shoot a 75-footer, or whatever, I probably have made that shot before in practice or maybe in a game. Honestly I expect to make it. Versus a hole-in-one, even if you hit a shot and it’s right on line, the odds of it going in are slim to none.”

He ain’t lying. Even the best shots can go horribly wrong out on the golf course, and most of the time there’s nothing you can do about it. The margin of error is undeniably small, so for Steph to do what he did as a non-professional is pretty outstanding.

“So when it goes, that’s when I lost my mind. I started sprinting 150 yards down to the hole to celebrate. I basically blacked out, and if I act like that when I hit a 75 footer, unless it’s to win the NBA Finals? Then you’ll celebrate but it’s kind of like ‘I meant to do that’, versus a hole in one. That’s different.”

It’s always fun to watch professional athletes try their hand at other sports. Not only do folks at home get to see just how talented these people are at basically anything worth competing at, but we also get to take a look at the mechanics behind what makes a great athlete — great.

Steph Curry happens to be one of the greatest of our generation, and leads the National Basketball Associations in most 3-pointers of all time. He’s a killer from long-range. Is it so surprising that he’d be able to translate that eye for accuracy to golf? Of course not. Who knows? Maybe after his NBA career is over Steph can give the PGA a shot?
